FAME Populator is a Microsoft™ Excel Add-In that allows you to access FAME data from within Excel. Using FAME Populator, you can create sophisticated analysis in your Excel spreadsheets, right where you are accustomed to working.

Release 4.1, Revision 4 is compatible with Microsoft Office 97, Office 2000, and Office XP. Revision 4 also fixes a number of problems in previous releases as well as enables automatic date formatting in spreadsheet cells.

Basic among FAME Populator's features are:

• The FAME Series Wizard, used for creating FAME expressions to return data.
• The Catalog Browser, used for viewing, searching, and selecting data. The browser allows seamless integration with Open Lookup for browsing your proprietary databases. Using Open Lookup, you can view either SiteServer data and non-SiteServer data-or view both simultaneously if both are available to you. You can also customize Open Lookup's organizational structure to suit your needs.

• Find all Far East companies that reported earnings over the last 5 days.
• Find all large cap companies with upward estimate revisions.
• Show a technical analysis for all German DAX constituents.
• Show the recent dates of extreme price movement for the stocks of a particular portfolio.
