FAME SiteServer is the only product available that combines historical financial data, time series database management and data delivery in a fast and flexible turnkey solution - capable of integrating third party and client proprietary data - at the client site. Development of new information content, end-user applications, and open platform access methods (SQL, HTML, and OLE) continue to be the major areas of focus for our firm.
FAME SiteServer is both a product and a service. The product consists of one or more historical databases and the software
necessary to deliver and maintain them. The service is provided by the FAME Operations and Data Integrity groups. FAME
Operations manages the entire data delivery process, from acquisition of data feeds from vendors to preprocessing in our data
center to electronic delivery of data files and update of historical financial databases on the customer system. Operations
monitors the entire process, end-to-end, and notifies customers when data is late or when their SiteServers have performance
problems. FAME Data Integrity reviews the quality of the data that is delivered and makes corrections where that is permitted by the vendor.
Through FAME SiteServer, timely validated data is delivered directly to the client's site where it is stored locally on the client's UNIX file server in FAME time series databases. The customer can take advantage of SiteServer's built-in mechanisms to trigger critical analyses and reports as soon as the requisite data is available.
FAME SiteServer is available on Sun Solaris only.
