Determining your License Code
In the "FAME License Code" field, type your FAME License Code. This code is a string of 10 letters and numbers such as "ABC1234567" (without the quote marks).

To determine your FAME License Code:

  • FAME
    In the Dialog window, type:

    display @license

A string similar to "ABC1234567:F8345CD1:WindowsNT" is displayed. The characters before the first colon in the string make up the FAME License Code.

  • TimeIQ 1.2 or higher
From your workstation run the one of the following scripts in your TimeIQ installation directory from a DOS or UNIX prompt:

    linfo12.bat
    linfo12.ksh
    linfotiq.bat
    linfotiq.ksh

The version of the file that may exist on your system will vary depending on which TimeIQ version and OS you have TimeIQ installed on.

The FAME license code is displayed in the output generated by these scripts and will look similar to the string "ABC1234567".

  • FAME Populator
With a cell highlighted, from the FAME menu select Series Wizard.... In the Series Expression field, type:

    @license

Upon refreshing, a string similar to "ABC1234567:F8345CD1:WindowsNT" is displayed in the cell. The characters before the first colon in the string make up the FAME License Code.

  • Other
If you cannot run these products from your workstation, contact your FAME Administrator for your License Code.
