Overview:
This course introduces users to the powerful and easy to use FAME 4GL
programming language. This hands-on course consists of lecture, computer lab,
and a discussion of the lab exercise results.

Objective:
Users will gain an understanding of FAME concepts and skills at an introductory
level. By the end of the training course, users will have a working knowledge of
the FAME system.
Agenda:
- Enter data and change data
- Create, delete and rename objects
- Create, open and close databases in FAME
- Set date ranges, specify dates and set case ranges
- Create input and procedure files
- Understand how FAME handles missing data
- Retrieve information describing data objects
- Display, report and graph data series
- Understand the difference between FAME commands and options
- Understand basic time scale conversion
- Understand FAME's many functions, including mathematical operators, and logical operators
- Retrieve data in Excel using FAME/Populator
